Account Information
When you create an account, we use Clerk to handle authentication. Depending on your sign-in method, Clerk may collect your email address, phone number, or OAuth profile information (name, profile photo) from third-party providers such as Google, Discord, Facebook, or X. We do not store raw passwords. Clerk's own privacy policy applies to data processed through their service.
Usage Data
We collect data about how you interact with the Service, including deals you view or like, your ZIP code (if provided for local deal filtering), pages visited, and approximate timestamps of activity.
Automatically Collected Data
When you access the Service, our servers may automatically log your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, and session identifiers. We use cookies and similar technologies to maintain your session and remember your preferences.
User-Submitted Content
If you submit a deal, we store the deal text, any uploaded images, and the associated metadata (title, price, category, source URL). Submitted deals are publicly visible on the Service.
Affiliate Links & Retailer Disclosures
Some deals on the Service contain affiliate links. If you click a link and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you. We do not share your personal data with retailers beyond the standard referral identifier embedded in the link URL.
Amazon: Clearance Explorer is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com. Certain content that appears on this site comes from Amazon Services LLC. This content is provided "as is" and is subject to change or removal at any time.
